Portrait Artist

I hand paint many different types of portraits, for example childrens portraits, group portraits, family portraits and pet portraits. I work from photographs, which I can take or you can supply. For a more in depth portrait I can arrange sittings where I will make sketches in addition to photographs. Depending on a clients requirements I work in a range of mediums such as oil, acrlyic, water color, pastel and pencils.

Hand painted portraits can capture the mood, emotions and characteristics of the subject in a way that is totally unique. Below are a selection of portrait commissions I have undertaken.

I charge depending on how long the portrait will take to complete, how much travel and or shipping costs are involved, if sittings are requested and what type of materials are needed in the job. The size of the portrait depends on a client's request. I do not frame portraits, however I can get a portrait framed at an additional cost.
